About Us
NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia is the political and policy leader of the pro-choice movement in Virginia.
Our mission is to develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process in Virginia to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion. (See our What Is Choice? section.) We work to educate Virginians and policymakers about the broad range of issues encompassing reproductive choice and lobby our legislature to pass pro-choice policies and defeat anti-choice laws. We provide Virginians with information on policymakers' voting records on reproductive rights issues and encourage them to vote pro-choice in state elections.
An affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America, our organization works on the state level to protect safe, legal abortion, expand the full range of reproductive rights and protect reproductive health for all Virginians regardless of race, income, age, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia is a grassroots 501(c)(4) advocacy organization supported by thousands of dedicated members, volunteers and activists throughout the Commonwealth. NPCV has two sister entities, the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Foundation and the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC. (See below.)

Contributions to NPCVF are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law, and cannot be used for political work.
The NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Political Action Committee directly supports pro-choice candidates for state and local office in Virginia. We research and interview candidates and educate voters on their positions on choice before and after they become elected representatives. Our PAC works on the ground and engages in voter contact during election cycles to help create a pro-choice majority in Richmond.

All contributions to the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC must be reported to the Virginia State Board of Elections.
