Thank Your Legislator for Voting NO on the Latest Attack on Choice
This week, the House of Delegates passed an anti-choice bill, House Bill 894, in a 60-37 vote. Known as Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers (TRAP) legislation, HB 894, if signed into law, would require clinics that perform first trimester abortions to adhere to medically-unnecessary architectural and licensing standards similar to that required of ambulatory surgery centers. These regulations go far beyond the recommendations of recognized medical guidelines. Thirty-seven Delegates recognized this legislation for what it is - an attempt to limit access to abortion by shutting down clinics - and they deserve our thanks for their courageous vote. The following Delegates voted NO on House Bill 894: (Not sure who your Delegate is? Click here to find out!)
