Hypocrisy Thy Name is Lt. Governor Bolling
In a 21-20 vote, the State Senate approved a budget amendment that prohibits any state funds from going to our coalition partner Planned Parenthood. This budget amendment removes hundreds of thousands of dollars used for women’s health programs, including the provision of cancer screenings, STI testing, and contraception. The tiebreaking vote was cast by anti-choice Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling. Tell Lt. Governor Bolling that Virginians are tired of divisive attacks on women’s reproductive health care!
