League of Young Leaders
NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia's League of Young Leaders (LoYL) is a group for young professional supporters of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. Our mission is to engage and develop young leaders for the purpose of strengthening and supporting the organization's work through advocacy, outreach, and philanthropy.LoYL is open to anyone ages 21-35 who supports the mission of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia and wants to be part of a unique, proactive group. LoYL activities include happy hours, house parties, campaign events, volunteer and activism opportunities, advocacy trainings, discussions, lobby days, and more! Want to get involved? Screening of 12th & Delaware

Join NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia's League of Young Leaders (LoYL) young professionals group on Wednesday, November 14 for a screening of the acclaimed HBO documentary 12th & Delaware in Arlington. (Location is near Ballston Metro station; please RSVP to loyl@naralva.org to receive your spot and receive exact location details).
Selected Past Events:12th & Delaware follows activity on a quiet street corner in Florida where a legitimate women's health clinic that provides abortion stands across from a so-called "crisis pregnancy center" (CPC). In this film, you get the rare opportunity to see firsthand how a CPC operates and how its tactics affect women. The film doesn't take a position on choice - it starts a conversation. Become a part of that dialogue by joining NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Foundation, the League of Young Leaders and fellow pro-choice Virginians to discuss what’s really at stake for women who need to access family planning and abortion care throughout the nation and in Virginia.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion. Refreshments will be served. This event is free, but space will be limited. RSVP is required to LoYL@naralva.org.

LoYL held its summer happy hour in Old Town Alexandria. Pro-choice young professionals enjoyed food and drink specials at one of Old Town's finest establishments, participated in a raffle for great prizes from local businesses and heard from NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia executive director Tarina Keene regarding what is happening with new targeted regulations on abortion providers and how November's important General Assembly elections are shaping up.
