Infant Mortality Prevention Act

Requires certain measures designed to lower the infant mortality rate in the Commonwealth, including expanding FAMIS eligibility for pregnant women with an income level up to 200 percent of the federal poverty level and providing coverage for one year postpartum; and prohibiting the state from charging copayments for prenatal services for state employees.

Requires school districts to notify parents and distribute a description of their Family Life Education program before instruction begins to encourage parental guidance and involvement. If the curriculum being taught is abstinence-only, the notice home must indicate that the student will only receive information about abstinence, and that the curriculum does not meet the Board of Education's Family Life Education guidelines. Further Restrictions on Abortion Funding

Near Total Abortion Ban

Imposes near-total criminal ban on abortion. Includes an exception only to prevent a woman's death. Would take effect if Roe v. Wade is overturned by the Supreme Court or constitutional amendment.
