NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC Endorses Delegate David Englin
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 25, 2009 NARAL PRO-CHOICE VIRGINIA PAC ANNOUNCES ENDORSEMENT OF DELEGATE DAVID ENGLIN, DISTRICT 45 Endorsement highlights organization’s dedication to building a pro-choice majority in the Virginia House of Delegates (Alexandria, VA) – Today, NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC, the commonwealth’s leading advocate for personal privacy and a woman’s right to choose, announced its endorsement of Delegate David Englin for House District 45. “Voters in House District 45 are fortunate to have had Delegate Englin representing their interests in Richmond, protecting their reproductive rights at the state level. We have the opportunity to support pro-choice Delegate Englin again this election cycle, recognizing his record of voting time and time again to secure access to reproductive healthcare for all Virginians,” said Tarina Keene, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. This year, Delegate Englin was the chief co-patron of the Birth Control Protection Act and he patroned the Pharmacy Refusal Notification Act, requiring pharmacists to post signs warning women when they refuse to fill birth control prescriptions.
