Surovell is being challenged by Republican candidate Jay McConville for the vacancy that occurred when Delegate Kris Amundson announced her retirement late last month. “As the former chairman of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee, Surovell is well versed in issues that matter most to Northern Virginians.
